Most Flash Disk is now using a USB 2.0 connector type which was first issued in April 2000, which in this version of the maximum speed of data transfer is 480 Mbps / 60 MBps also called Hi-Speed USB. Compared with the USB 1.1 maximum is only 12 Mbps, meaning superior speed to 40 times as much. Earlier initial speed USB 2.0 is 240 Mbps, but then in October 1999 by USB promoter group velocity is increased. But in practice the velocity field is very difficult to achieve, can only be effective up to 320 Mbps / 40 MBps.

There are several applications one of which is Check Flash

Lightweight applications that measures just 340 KB is created by programmers from Ukraine named Misha। Although this little but a tool capable of doing a good job checking, to determine the speed of data transfer, check if there are errors in the flash disk, and formatting.

checkFlash check by running a simulation process of reading and writing over and over again in a flash disk, which will then bring the data transfer speed as well as detect any errors that occur during the process. This application can direct you to run without prior installation process and consumes only 812 KB of memory.
